Installation
If you don’t have the time or know how to plant your own garden I can do it for you. I will shop for plants for your garden and plant them according to design plans, always keeping the plants’ requirements in mind to give them a great start.
Maintenance
Whether you have an existing garden or a newly installed garden, all gardens need some kind of maintenance periodically.
Maintenance services include:
- Spring cleanup- removal of winter debris, plant material left up for winter interest.
- Edging- cutting a crisp edge between lawn and flower beds.
- Dead heading- getting rid of spent flowers to keep plants blooming and growing well.
- Watering- most plants need at least 1” of rain per week. Some in containers may need watering once or twice per day. Even drought tolerant plants need watering until plants are established and in times of severe drought. *Don’t leave your plants unattended while away on vacation. I can water while you’re away and you can relax knowing your garden is being cared for.
- Mulching- adding organic mulch to your beds helps retain moisture, moderate temperature, and give your beds a finished look.
- Pruning- cutting back plants, shrubs, trees to maintain shape and health of the plant.
- Fall cleanup- cutting back perennials, removing annuals, general cleanup in the garden.
