I live in an area with a healthy deer population so that was my biggest gardening challenge. It has been a love/ hate relationship. I always wanted a garden that would bloom all season – in spite of the deer. Now, that’s what I have. It was because of the deer challenge that I have spent years researching plants that would work for me. In the process I experimented a lot and learned a lot. I became obsessed with not only deer resistant plants, but all plants.
I became a Master Gardener, garden lecturer, designer, consultant, and coach because gardening became a love, a passion, and almost a form of meditation. What began as a drawback has turned into a purpose.
